This policy explains which personal data is processed when you visit casamedusawellness.com or contact us. Casa Medusa Wellness is still being finished: no booking or payment is processed on this website at this stage.

Contact form

When you use the contact form, we receive your first name, last name, email address and message. This information is sent to us by email at contact@casamedusawellness.com and is also stored in the website’s administration area (WordPress). With each message, the website also records the page it was sent from and the type of browser and operating system of your device. Your IP address is not stored with the message. This data is used only to reply to your request.

WhatsApp button

The WhatsApp button opens a conversation in WhatsApp, a service provided by WhatsApp (Meta). No data is sent to WhatsApp until you click the button; conversations are then subject to WhatsApp's privacy policy.

Technical data

Our web host records technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) in its security logs. The website remembers your chosen language and your cookie choice with technical cookies. Analytics tools are only used with your consent (see below). No advertising tool is installed.

Analytics (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity)

Only if you click “Accept” in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited) and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation) to measure how the website is used: pages viewed, visit duration, type of device and browser, approximate country or city, where the visit comes from, and clicks on the WhatsApp button and phone numbers and contact form submissions (without the content of your message). Microsoft Clarity also records, in anonymised form, clicks and scrolling to help us improve the pages; anything typed into forms is masked. These statistics are not used for advertising and are not linked to your contact details. These providers may process data outside Morocco and the European Union, in particular in the United States. Google Analytics cookies last up to 13 months and data is kept for 14 months; Clarity cookies last up to 1 year. If you click “Refuse”, none of these tools is loaded. You can change your mind at any time with the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page.

Embedded third-party services

Fonts are hosted on this website: no data is sent to a third party to display them. The About page shows an OpenStreetMap map, and the “View on map” link opens Google Maps. These services apply their own privacy policies.

Bookings and payments

Bookings and payments are not open yet. This policy will be updated before they open to describe the data processed at that point.

How we use your data

Your data is used only to answer your questions, to keep the website running and secure, and to meet our legal obligations. It is never sold or used for advertising.

Who receives your data

Your data is only accessible to the Casa Medusa Wellness team and, for technical reasons, to our web host. If you have accepted analytics, Google and Microsoft receive the visit statistics described above. Your data is not shared with other third parties unless required by law.

Retention

Messages we receive, by email and in the website’s administration area, are kept for up to 12 months after the last exchange and then deleted.

Data security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or disclosure. No online system can, however, guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

Under Moroccan Law No. 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, you have the right to access, correct and object to the processing of your data. To exercise these rights, contact us through the contact page.

This policy will be updated, in particular when bookings open. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of this page.
